Ok...I have been trying a variety of flowers lately & have successfully made a few & messed up on a few others.
I found this Rosette Tutorial this week & it seemed so easy, I had to try it out.
I dug through my fabric scraps & came across this peach fabric that I used to make myself a skirt last year. I decided that would be good practice fabric & went to work
(I have a video tutorial at the bottom if you think it will help you...it really was SO EASY!)

I followed the tutorial in my last post to make 3 different sized rosettes
I went & dug the skirt out of my closet. Both of the fabrics were found in the $1 per yard section at Walmart & with a simple elastic waistband, I think this skirt cost me $3 total..I LOVE a good deal! The peach is the lining, so it doesn't really show, but it still has that color of polka dots in the fabric, so I think the rosettes match...
I almost attached them right onto the skirt, but then decided to cut a long strip of fabric & sewed them right to the fabric...
Now I can use it as a belt

Go & try it!!! Embellish a headband, a shirt, some shoes...the possibilities are endless:)
I'm not one to post videos...I don't like listening to my voice & I don't even own a tripod, but I'm a visual learner, so this might help if you are too...
