Knight-ify

I am LEARNING to be a Cub Scout Leader(it is all VERY NEW to me) but I guess it is good, so that by the time my kids are that age, I will know what to expect!

Last week our Cub Scouts attended DAY CAMP & the theme was "Knights at the Pueblo" & they suggested costumes for a Round Table Event. COSTUMES = HOT in Phoenix, AZ & knowing that the weather would be 100 + degrees, I thought an easy idea would be to grab some Burger King Crowns for the boys.

This included a trip to Burger King with MY BOYS & they were in heaven with their very own crowns:)

I decided to "Knight-ify" the crowns a bit...

so I googled "Knight Shield"...grabbed the 1st image & printed some out on cardstock...

and covered up the "Burger King Logo" with a "Knight's Shield"...
SUPER EASY & not to mention...didn't cost me a dime!

Good idea! We are going to camp next week so I should do that. I even just went to Burger King to pick up some ice! Oh well, it's less than a mile from my house :) I like the idea!

When did you get put in cub scouts? I've been a wolf leader with Mindi since February. How are you liking it? We went to day camp last week-we so lucked out on the weather being so nice.

I have to tell you, this, the BK Crowns brought back a whole FLOOD of memories for me of Grandma Pearl. I don't know if you remember, but she always had about 15 of these around the house for us to play with. And then at Christmas time, we'd always fight over who got to be one of the 3 Wise Men (more like 3 wise guys) in the Christmas Pagent. I love BK crowns.
