*July marks my 1 year blogiversary! Throughout the month, I will be re-posting ideas that I have previously posted, since most of you are new to my blog! This idea was originally posted on 7/27/09
This was a Girl's camp craft a few years ago & I thought it was so cute! The girls had fun choosing their own CUTE scrapbook paper to match their rooms to make their very own jewelry hanger...
Here is a little "how to" for you...
1. Route the edges of a simple piece of wood & stain or paint the edges.
2. Choose a piece of scrapbook paper, cut to fit & mod podge it on.
3. Sand edges, roughing up edges of scrapbook paper. Add stain to edge of scrapbook paper
3. Screw on Decorative Hooks
4. Hang up your jewelry!

This is the one I made...to match my bedroom & to hang my jewelry from.
When we made these, they ordered in bulk and got the hooks online for less than 50 cents each, so I ordered several & have yet to decide what to do with them. A long board in the bathroom with 4 hooks across to hang towels form? Several of these jewelry hangers to give as gifts? Hmmmm?
Any ideas on a project I could use these hooks on???

Cute Idea love it!
Beautiful, and I love those hooks. Maybe in the mudroom for coats and backpacks? (the extra ones). I'd love them in the bathroom, or my clost. Thanks for linking up!
Well, I would gladly take a couple off your hands ;) I don't know how big they are, but would they work for keys? Or purses? I'd definitely use them for backpacks! Like I said, I could use some... *B
um, ok... LOVING this! Hooks are great! I learned how to use a drill because I HAD to have hooks in my closet to hang jewelry. Then I added hooks for purses, jackets, bras... etc! I became a tad obsessed. Now the lucky renters of our old apartment have all my hooks. :D
Those hooks are too cute! You did such a great job! And good thinking on ordering the hooks in bulk - you can always use them around, right?? They will look so cute with all your jewelry hanging on them!
That's really cute! I thought of the bathroom idea too. You could do a board in each of the boys' rooms to put their jacket or backpack on. Or even their hats. Another idea I had was if you have an entryway (even just from the garage) you could do the board and batten and put the hooks on that for jackets, bags, anything. Or even in your garage for that stuff, or for 72 hour kits. They are really cute hooks. That's awesome that you ordered in bulk!
