Ocean Bags

Help your children make their very own OCEANS this week!
This is a very simple craft & you probably have all of the supplies already in your home! It gave us the opportunity to talk about many different textures, smells, shapes & animals.
Step ONE:
Ziplock bag-fill with ocean rocks (Walmart craft section) or go get some from your backyard
Step TWO:
Fill with fish & octopus-we cut ours from craft foam
(you can also use gummy fish, small waterballoons, or other items for your fish! Find some plastic greenery for seaweed! Be CREATIVE!)
Step THREE:
I used BLUE SHAMPOO for our OCEAN WATER
It took about 1/3 of a bottle for each ziplock bag.
You could also use blue hairgel or simply add blue food coloring to water & a little soap to add some bubbles!
Step FOUR:
Seal the bag shut, not leaving any air in the bag & instruct children NOT TO OPEN THEM---or will result in BIG MESS!
You can even tape yours shut & double the bags for more protection.
Kid love to SQUISH the fish around in their own little ocean!
