OUR HOME.
It has almost been 1 year since we FIRST LOOKED at the home...and THIS ROOM was not a seller for us. Just too much BROWN
They had brown wood floors
& brown crown moulding
& brown panelling on all of the walls
& brown framed doors
& brown ceiling fan...
I think you get the point.
(We knew a little paint & elbow grease could change the look without spending very much money)

I probably should have turned off the ceiling fan & tv...but you get the point.
We were going to rip down the paneling in this room, but ended up PAINTING it & we really like the look. We also took down the double doors that USED to lead outside, but since the previous owners added a bonus room, I like the open entry to my Preschool/Playroom.

well, for one, I clean every day...or at least need to...lol!
Seriously though, doesn't even look like the same room! It's so light and airy! And now the brown wood floors actually look good because they show up! You guys did awesome in there, and I like that you left the paneling, looks like beadboard.
Great job, I love how bright and open it looks now!
The furniture in the before pix is HUGE! How can you have such huge furniture?
I do dishes every day and make the beds. I know some people say those things don't matter, but they do to me.
