Mother's Day Idea

With Mother's Day less than a week away, you probably don't need any ideas for gifts, but if you are a procrastinator like me, here is a simple gift idea that you can quickly whip up!
I did this with my Preschoolers this week to give to their moms.
I found this "Handprint Poem" online & just printed it the size I needed. Then I glued it on a piece of Mat Board. You could use Cardstock, Cardboard, Chipboard or anything else that is sturdy!
Then just dip their little hands in paint & press onto the board...being careful not to let their little fingers slide:)

I just punched holes and put ribbon through to hang, but if I was just doing one or two (not a bunch for preschool) I probably would probably buy a frame to put it in!
I think this would be ESPECIALLY cute if you have a little BABY. Why are itty bitty handprints SO STINKIN' CUTE!?!

Ours were very simple, but you could be it cute & "scrapbooky", you could cut the words out on VINYL & put on a TILE or a MIRROR or a TILE??? If you have more than one child, you could put one of EACH of their HANDPRINTS somewhere on the board & have them sign their names in the middle of the handprints. The possibilites are endless for this SIMPLE idea!
But Preschooler handprints are ALSO very cute! :)

This is very cute. It would be a perfect gift for my MIL who always wants the kids to stop growing. Thinking I just might need to do this for here and let the kids write their names. Having my little to write their names is always fun and cute. Thanks for a great gift idea.

I love crafts with handprints. They just grow up so fast. Thanks for sharing ... I've posted a link.
