Button...Button...Who's got the Button?

My sis-in-law Whitney had the CUTEST bracelet on one night when we were over there...made of BUTTONS! I wish I had a picture, but it was a darling black buttoned bracelet. Another sis-in-law, Chaya, loved the idea as well and made some for a mother-daughter church activity. Chaya was nice enough to take some pictures of a few she made, so that I could share the idea and a little "how to" with YOU!

Supplies needed:
Elastic
Buttons

Yep! That is it!

Cut your elastic the length you want your bracelet, with enough extra to tie it off at the end...

Lay out your buttons. You can use all of one color or multi-colored, but mix up the sizes and shapes...

String your buttons onto your elastic...
and then tie off the ends tightly, so the buttons don't slip off...
And wah la! You are done, slip on your bracelet & enjoy!

Here is another one in WHITE...
What a FUN...EASY...and CHEAP idea!!

I'd love to make some with some vintage buttons...

Thanks for the pictures Chaya!!!

I have worked with the stretch Magic and found that it can come undone. I have started to put a drop of clear nail polish or super glue to make sure it doesn't come undone. There is nothing worse than buttons, beads, flowers etc getting everywhere because it came undone.

Fund times!
